The Corinth Canal The Corinth Canal is in Greece. It is 6.8 kilometres long and 21 metres wide. The depth of the water in the canal is 8 metres. Large ships cannot sail through the canal, but small tourist ships can. More than 11 000 ships travel through the canal every year.
